Through the years, Kimball Office has provided its employees and our ever-growing communities with over 362,000 trees to be planted across the nation.

With four successful decades under the company’s belt, Kimball Office maintains its commitment of designing and manufacturing environmentally friendly office furniture.

“Originally founded as a wood products manufacturer, Kimball Office has always been connected to the environment. From day one, we began applying and encouraging sustainable business practices; it’s fitting that we’re sharing our 40th anniversary with Earth Day’s 40th,” said Jeff Fenwick, Vice President and General Manager at Kimball Office. “40 years ago, when our company started, we set out to develop the most environmentally-responsible, quality office furniture. Everyday we strive to find new ways to reduce our carbon footprint.”

Habig Community and Older Americans Center. The Arnold F. Habig Community and Older Americans Center is located in Jasper, Indiana, home of the Kimball Office Corporate Headquarters.

Large trees and rose bushes were planted at the site, gardens were weeded and cleaned for new spring growth, and flower beds and an 1/3 mile walking path were re-mulched with nearly two semi truckloads of mulch.

“From the renewable materials used in our products, to the corporate recycling center we share with our parent company, Kimball Office is a well rounded corporate partner and citizen,” said Fenwick. “Our employees and partners throughout the country look forward to servicing their communities in honor of the environment.”
