Kimball Office Select Dealer J Tyler Celebrates Earth Day and Birthday

To celebrate our 40th birthday and Earth Day’s 40th anniversary, Kimball Office donated 40 trees to 40 communities across the country. 

J Tyler, Kimball Office Select Dealer in Houston, sent out celebration emails to 40 local Architectural & Design firms inviting them to a tree planting at the dealership.  The 40 firms were selected based on their sustainability efforts and innovative designs. 

Theme Designs, a local Texas partner in the landscaping business, donated 40 planter pots, magic growth crystals, and potting soil to ensure the trees get off to the right start.  Participants planted tree saplings in dedication of their firm.

Each tree was tagged for a design firm and updates will be sent to them with information on their tree’s growth.  The trees will eventually be planted on J Tyler’s property with ground plates designating them for each A&D firm.  Shannah Breaux, A&D Marker Manager at J Tyler, and Roger Luce, Kimball Office MSM will hand out Tree Certificates at the official planting.

Kimball Office Takes Orlando and Boston by Storm

Did you get a chance to check out Kimball Office this week in Orlando or Boston?  The VHA Leadership Conference, the Legal Administrator’s Annual Conference, and the Annual GSA Expo were all held this week and Kimball Office provided furniture inspirations for all three.  Visitors to the Kimball Office booths got first hand experience with Fluent desks and storage, as well as Axos, Bingo, Fit, and Hero. Just for You. seating.    

The VHA Leadership Conference in Orlando hosted a wide variety of environmentally friendly, flexible solutions for health care facilities.  Kimball Office showcased flexible, comfortable accommodations suitable for private and public lounge areas.  “The health care industry is changing rapidly and its office environments need to keep pace by encouraging open communication among employees, and provide privacy and comfort to patients and their families,” said Jeff Fenwick, Vice President and General Manager at Kimball Office.  “It is important we provide innovative solutions that offer comfort and support for today’s and tomorrow’s office and lobby requirements.”

Boston hosted The Legal Administrator’s Annual Conference, geared toward the legal industry.  With the trend moving to a more mobile workforce, legal firms need to balance private office and open floor areas for maximizing productivity among a diverse workforce. The Kimball Office booth featured flexible, sustainable furnishings that adapt to traditional and modern workspace preferences.

The Annual General Services Administration (GSA) Expo, held in Orlando, encouraged attendees to think outside of the constraints of a traditional office.  This government focused Expo promoted workspace configurations that provided more collaborative, open environments. “Our nationwide government account services team provides complete support to government agencies looking for new ideas to furnish new or existing office spaces.” added Fenwick.
