The Chicago Showroom is packed with visitors and the excitement is contagious.  From new product and surface material introductions to expert speakers, guests are thrilled.  The one-of-a-kind Kimball Office totes flew off of the racks and the visitors are raving about them.  The totes were created exclusively for Kimball Office to highlight the new surface material introductions.

This year, Kimball Office celebrates our 40th anniversary.  Guests and Kimball Office employees sang Happy Birthday and the party festivites are underway.  A special cake was created to commemorate the occasion and now the cake is being served.

Kimball Office Offers Flood Relief to Nashville

Kimball Office employees in Indiana pitched in and collected items to help those affected by the recent flood in Nashville, TN.  The employees from Jasper, IN and Salem, IN collected, packaged, and loaded a Kimball International truck full of supplies.  The Kimball International Logistics team coordinated the loading and delivery of the items to The Nashville Cares Ministry.  The Ministry received the truckload of supplies, and the senior class of Harpeth High School distributed them to the most hard-hit areas.  The Ministry representatives said, “This was such a wonderful and caring gift.  We are so grateful.”  At the Harpeth High School Graduation ceremony, they gave Kimball Office a BIG thank you for contributing to local flood relief.

Julia Roberts, our Kimball Office Sales Representative in Nashville, was present for the distribution of the items.  She said, “Thanks to everyone for their efforts to assist the people of the great state of Tennessee.  The donations brought many smiles and tears when they heard that the people that were so generous did not live in Tennessee.”

Kimball Office Hits the Runway

The Ohio and Kentucky Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) hosted Product Runway 2010 to merge the fashion industry with office furniture.  17 teams participated in creating wearable art, and over 600 people attended the show to witness the transformation of materials into fashion.

Sponsors, designers, and volunteers put their best foot forward to make this year’s event a success.  Kimball Office sponsored the event and also donated Kimball Office bags to the team members.  With ticket sales, the Ohio and Kentucky Chapter of IIDA was able to make a very generous donation to Dress for Success, in Columbus Ohio.  This international not-for-profit organization provides professional attire, support, and career development opportunities to disadvantaged women.
