*Dr. James Ware, Ph.D. of the Work Design Collaborative and the Future of Work program presented “The Future of Work”.
*Diane Coles, Director Workspace Strategies, SCAN Health Plan presented “Facilities Management to Concierge Services” and shared her experience in spearheading an award winning alternative workplace strategy called the AWESOME project to save costs, improve work-life balance, and attract and retain employees.
*Clark Sept, Co-Founder and Owner of Business Place Strategies presented “Office Futures and the Nature of Business Place Change” with a focus on culture and change.
*Bryant Rice, Director of DEGW San Francisco presented “We Are What We Measure” with a focus on creating the right metrics to truly measure success.
Guests represented various businesses, industries, and services, so the discussions were lively. The goal of the Symposium was to improve current practices and encourage continuing innovation in the workplace.
Open panel Q&A provided an excellent forum for sharing and learning. Attendees said they would highly recommend future Symposiums. This event was full of incredible information, resources, and knowledge to help meet the challenges of future office space planning. As noted by one participant: “The Kimball Office team made a huge difference with their warm and welcoming approach”.
